Major cuteness

These pictures were taken during the last week of my maternity. I tried to get as much time with my baby as possible. I sure didn't want to return back to work, leaving her preciousness!

Such a ham!

Loves her feet!!

I caught the fur babies at a sweet time. They were both sunbathing and taking naps!

So glad Daddy was home to see her hold a toy all by herself

She would eat that bear's nose!

Someone's in love with their baby girl!

My Roomie's Wedding

One of my college roomies married her high school sweetheart in the most beautiful and meaning October wedding I have ever been to. It was so precious and beautiful! It was everything that reminded me of Allison and her crafty talents. Bill had to work on this Saturday, and since it was 2 hours away and Peyton was only a little over 2 months, my mom decided to come a long and I'm so glad she did. Peyton ate during the wedding, slept through most of the reception, and then filled her pants, and my mom, with poop before we left and then had the pleasure of listening to her cry for over 30 minutes straight! But it was a great day and I'm glad I got to see one my dear friends and roomies marry her soulmate! Here are some pictures of the beautiful decorations and happy couple!

Peyton's First Harvest

Farming is a way of life in my family. That is all my dad has known. My grandpa Sprinkle was a farmer and it was in my dad's genes to farm. Whenever he was old enough to help, my grandpa let him and he has been doing it ever since. My dad is smart, frugal, and so inspiring! He has worked with others, but lately has been doing most of the work by himself or with one other helper. My dad is my families rock and he stands for what he believes in. I love you dad and I'm so proud to call you my dad!

Ok enough of the mushy stuff, one of my favorite memories growing up was harvest time in the fall. My dad would work long hours to get all of the crops out of the field, my mom would stop her day to take my dad and helpers lunch and supper, and in the evenings, my cousins and I would get to ride in the combine, tractor, and play in the corn or beans. After school, I always remember begging mom to take me to dad so I could play with my cousin Rob in the corn or beans after they were harvested from the fields. We would ride in the combine for awhile, then the tractor, then we would climb the top of the semi trailer, which was loaded with corn or beans and play in there. Not sure what we played or anything, but it was always fun and is one of my favorite farming memories.

Because this is my families way of life and one of my childhood memories, I couldn't wait to take Peyton for her first farm harvesting experience. She was just over 2 months, so no, she didn't get to play in the corn (which is what my dad planted behind my mom and dad's house) like I did, but I'm sure that will come one day or another. It was very windy this day, so we hurried and took a few photos and got her back inside. No riding today either, which I'm sure she will love just as much as my dad will! I'll leave you with these precious photos that we will treasure!
