I am officially writing this blog from the luxury of a finished basement! YAH!!!! I'm soo glad it is finished! Although I was against bringing our living room downstairs in the beginning, it has turned out really well and better than I ever thought it would be. The carpet was finished on Friday the 20th, and all of the furniture was moved downstairs the next day. Bill and I are loving how big it is! Even though it was a long process, I love it and want to thank everyone who helped make it so nice! I'll share some pictures of the finished product!
On the night that the furniture was moved downstairs, Bill and I went to my parent's house for supper. My sister Kelley was home from college for the weekend and I thought it would be great to have a sister sleepover. Although I see a couple of my sisters often, we don't get the chance to do things or be together for a long time that often. I thought that by having a sleepover we would get the chance to be with each other, have fun, and just bond. We played Apples to Apples, which I won both times (ha), video games, and just watched tv. We all slept on the floor in the basement like girls in grade school do when they have a sleep over! Although we didn't do much, we had a great time and had fun spending time together.

Sister Sleepover!
This weekend has been really nice. Bill and I didn't do much at all, which was great. We've been really busy with the basement and work that it was just nice to do nothing. My mom watched my nephews Braeden and Reece this past weekend and we went over and spent some time with them, but other than that we just took it easy. It is nice to relax, especially with a busy week ahead. Tomorrow I'm off from work, but I need to go to the store and get some things, as well as pick up the house and laundry! Work will take up the rest of the week and the weekend is super busy. A party on Saturday, a party on Sunday, which means it will be nothing like this past weekend! Oh well!
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and that the week ahead will be good! God Bless!
