Crazy Couple of Weeks!

Well it's been a couple of weeks since I've updated. Sorry about that, but there really hasn't been that much going on, at least the first week of June. I worked Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of that week, which is typical. On Saturday the 6th, I got to together with some of the women at my church for a Scrapbooking day. It is just a day that we get together to work on things that we want to scrapbook. We do alot of talking, but we get things done as well. I stayed til 2 and then came home and took a nap with Bill. After our short nap, I ran to Vincennes to get a few things at Maurices and Kohls.
Sunday was another busy day. Bill had to work, so when he left, I got up and got ready for church. Bill got home just in time to go to church. After church, one of my best friends Amy came down from Indianapolis to go to a bridal shower for Audrey Stoll. We went to eat and then went to the shower @ 2. We had a good time catching up with friends and celebrating with Audrey. After the shower, I came home and found that Bill had washed his work truck, his truck, and my Malibu. Such a sweet husband! Then we took a nap (we love taking naps in this family!) and then just enjoyed our night. Here are some pictures from the shower!

Monday was a busy day for me. I woke up around 8, because it was my day off, but I got a call around 8:15 asking if I could work. So I got ready and to work around 9:30. Even though I had to work, it was a smooth, slow day. I got home that night just in time to change and go to the church for our niece Breanna's suprise birthday party. Her birthday was on the 6th, but she plays softball and they played in the regional that day. I think she was suprised and all of her family and friends were there. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, fruit, and cake. It was a fun night. Here are some pictures from the party.

Tuesday and Wednesday were regular work days for me. I was scheduled to be off Thursday, but a girl at work called in and I was called to see if I would work because they are painting in our office and we needed to move charts. So I got ready and got to work @9 and left around 2 after we had moved some of the charts. Friday I went to work, but around 9 the other clinic called and needed another receptionist.  It was a good day, but, boy, what a crazy week!!! I was exahausted from a crazy week when I got home, but my parents and sisters arrived and asked us to go to Mason's and eat with them. It was good and I hadn't been there yet this year! When we got home, Bill picked some green beans and peas in the garden. I watched tv, but we ended up going to bed around 9 or 10 that night!
Saturday was a long day for us. My friend Allie Shafer was getting married in Evansville that afternoon. I got up around 8:30 and started getting ready. We left around 11:45 because we had to stop by the bank, which we thought closed @12. We arrived at the church in Evansville early, but we didn't mind since our directions weren't right. The wedding started @3 our time. It was a really nice wedding. After the wedding, we went to the reception. We ate and just had a good time with family and friends. We didn't get home until 12:30. We missed church yesterday, but Bill and I enjoyed catching up on our sleep. We watched tv and canned green beans that night with Bill's mom, Hap, and Breanna. Here are a couple pictures from the wedding.
